Make DAD 2012 a truly International Event

During the past 20 years our Disability Awareness Day events have attracted visitors from across the world including Thailand, Japan, South Africa, Australia, Gibraltar, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Austria, Cyprus, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, France, Czech Republic and Italy.

A few days after our 20th Anniversary event in 2011 it was confirmed that the Message Institute based in Jaipur Rajasthan India had successfully held their first DAD event on the 10th July to coincide with our event. Read more about this event here.

This led to various discussions about the exciting opportunity to organise various Disability Awareness events on the same day in 2012.

If we receive confirmation of at least one Disability Awareness event in each of the four corners of the world that will be being held on the 15th July 2012 we feel confident to be in the position to promote the date as The International Day of Disability Awareness. We will promote all of the events on this website, and reports and photo galleries will be available afterwards to celebrate our combined achievement.

Our next Disability Awareness Day is confirmed for the 15th July 2012. Now it's up to you to make this dream a reality.
