Disability Awareness DayDAD is an annual independent living exhibition and a family fun day rolled into one. The main aim of the event is to promote independence throughout life and work. The exhibitors at DAD reflect a wide range of support services that help us achieve this aim. DAD is supported by a week of complimentary events, and on the day we have arts, sport and entertainment for everyone. Would you like to join in the fun? Does your organisation provide support or services for disabled people? Why not share your ideas with our 25,000 visitors who come to our show each year. As an exhibitor you can inform, advise and communicate with all of them, simply register today. Without our generous and public spirited sponsors the show would never take place. Are you a local business looking to contribute to the community? Get in touch today! The next show is on Sunday 12th July 2009. We look forward to seeing you there!
"Absolutely inspirational" that's was the expression used by Mark Harper MP Shadow Minister for Disabled People to describe the Northwest Disability Awareness Day when he visited the Team during the build up to DAD 2008, which took place on Sunday 6th July.
