DAD Week 2025

The week leading up to DAD is always full of exciting and interesting events.

Tuesday 8th July

12 - 3pm Carers Wellbeing Festival: Arts Marquee, Walton Gardens. Warrington and Knowsley Carers Hub presents an event to thank carers with health and wellbeing activities including massage, mindfulness, music, crafts, dance and lunch. 6.30pm - 9.00pm Don't stop us now! - Tribute to We will rock you: Arts Marquee, Walton Gardens. Creating Adventures annual show, licenced bar and food. Tickets £5 phone 01925 500136 to book.

Wednesday 9th July

10.00am - 3.00pm Warrington In Mind
Arts Marquee, Walton Gardens: A free to attend mental health awareness day featuring workshops, demonstrations, market stalls and a screening of Community In Mind, a film about mental health support in Warrington. For more information call James on 01925 246880.

6.30 for 7.00pm – 9.30pm Ella Summertime Special
Arts Marquee, Walton Gardens: Come and be entertained by the teams from the amazing Ella Performance Group. An evening of dance, singing and much much more. Tickets £5 for adults £3 for children. Book tickets online or call 01928 713877

Thursday 10th July

The following two events are a collaboration between Warrington Disability Partnership, Warrington Youth Zone, Warrington Carers Hub and Warrington Wolves Foundation.

12 noon - 2pm – Party in the Park- exclusive session for schools and groups
Arts Marquee, Walton Gardens: For disabled children and young people and young carers. A fun-filled afternoon featuring disco, face painting and glitter, sensory area, sports, games, crafts and baking, DJ and entertainer. Free entry and refreshments. Registering in advance is required.
