This year the growing Visual Arts Zone has on stage entertainment in the hugely popular Performing Arts Marquee, plus three new marquees with lots of new features, activities and experiences for everyone to enjoy including:
An exciting exhibition of original art by emerging professional artists who are disabled and working together to promote access and inclusion in the Arts world.
The Sense Arts Marquee (Sense Arts) Marquee 6 will contain information about the development and history of disability arts with activities open to all throughout the day.
Two 45 minute workshops at 10.30am for adults and 11.30am for children led by a dance teacher from Ella Together Performing Arts company
Step into a 45-minute dance class that is all about fun, energy, and self-expression! Perfect for beginners, this class offers a welcoming space to move, groove, and explore the world of dance without pressure. Whether you're looking to try something new, get active, or just have a blast, this class promises a joyful and engaging experience for everyone—no experience needed, just a willingness to dance and have fun!
Four 45 minute workshops at 13.30, 14.15, 15.00 and 15.45 (all ages welcome). Fancy getting published? Always intended to start writing? Why not? Book your place to listen how Cilla Shiels (‘All Seasons’ Leader) and her writers started writing and are now published authors. If you are inspired by the workshop, you can enter a free competition. Entries can be submitted on the day or by Friday 15th August 2025.
12.10 After their second performance in the Main Arena, follow RMACOD back to their gazebo to learn the “Basics of Drumming”
15.00 Batida Rio will be performing in the Main Arena and will then be inviting people to join them to catch the rhythm and have a go at playing the samba drums. If wet the workshop will be held in the Performing Arts Marquee.
