The management team for DAD (Alias DAD's Army) consists of representatives from voluntary and Statutory organisations.
WDP DAD Facilities and Logistics Coordinator.
Brun coordinates the logistics of the event, which takes months of planning, communication and a huge amount of commitment. She is also involved in the administration for the DAD exhibitors, as well as coordinating the artists for the DAD Launch and DAD main event. Brun and will be onsite during the event to ensure that our 250+ exhibitors have everything they require.
WDP DAD Administration Coordinator.
Caroline coordinates a large portion of the administration for the event, overseeing the Stewards registrations and locations, Communications, DAD programme content, as well as coordinating the VIP Reception for sponsors and supporters. This is all done with support from the DAD Admin and Communications Teams, alongside a fantastic team of volunteers.

After 25 years, this event continues to improve and grow, due to Dave’s passion and belief in the event, working tirelessly in the lead up to event and beyond. Dave is constantly looking at ways to improve and develop the event further. He’s the originator of the saying “Team WDP” and strongly believes in the strength of our team. Dave is also our highways signage expert and is constantly on the look-out for new ideas and opportunities to promote DAD. He is also lead Trustee for fundraising and promotions.

Co-ordinates the positive action schools events, our WDP stalls and provides support to all WDP team Members. Also works as a sports broadcaster and presenter for the BBC - in his spare time! Derek also supports the DAD team with our BBQ in the Park as our Compere.

Gavin has grown up with DAD, taking part in the very first DAD event at the age of 12. Dave's son and potential future Co-ordinator! As Commercial Director, he also coordinates the exhibition stands for the Disability Trading Company.
WDP fundraising and Community Events.
Coordinates all our DAD week fundraising activities. Organises the DAD BBQ in the Park; one of our most successful fundraising events; as well as the Wingates Brass Band event.
WDP Joint Deputy Head Steward and member of site crew team.
John’s quad bike and trailer are a favourite with the lads, as it saves lots of time and energy. On Sunday, you will find him staffing the Steward’s Control Point with Peter.
Chrissy co-ordinates the sales of advertising spaces for the DAD programme.
Kate provides administration for DAD exhibitor bookings, answering many of the queries received from organisations wishing to be involved in the event.
WDP Honorary President
Mrs DAD. Completes the final exhibitor packs mail out with Brun and organises the DAD Week Team, which includes making sure they are kept fed and watered at ‘Pam’s Café’. Being married to Dave also means being married to DAD.
WDP Leisure Rec and Sports Office
Tom co-ordinates the Dave Connor Sports Zone (supported by Active Cheshire), and he organises the DAD Party in the Park, an event held during DAD Week catering for disabled children and young people.
WDP Trustee & Skillzone Director
Sue co-ordinates our websites. As WDP / DTC Treasurer, Sue works closely with Dave to monitor the finances for the event.
Walton Gardens Head Ranger Gavin provides a vital link and leadership with Walton Hall and Gardens staff and volunteers to DAD. "No" is a word seldom used by our Gav.
All of our Stewards, Enablers and Assistants and to everyone who supported the Auction and Raffle prizes and everyone else that helped organise events during DAD week.
